Tilt Shift effect in photoshop
Since I've no TS Lens (but most probably the Canon 24mm TS-E will be my next lens) I love to recreate one of the effects obtainable with this lovely lens...
The basic steps I use to recreate the effects are:
- In quick Mask mode, select gradient toolwith reflected gradient
- make a selection end exit the quick mask mode
- Lens Blur filter should be the tool of choice here,
- Depth Map to 0 (but sometimes adding a mask here could help)
- Specular Highlights to 0 (but low values could create a nice effect)
- radius/blade/curvature depend on photo and effect desired, but 50/0/0 generally work for me
- Depth Map to 0 (but sometimes adding a mask here could help)
- raising contrast curves and saturation could help for the little toy effect
this could do the trick
