That's the first thing that we wanted to say. We have some bad news. The crisis in the economy has claimed Uber as its latest victim. Our investors have decided to stop supporting Uber and we have closed the doors. We would like to thank them too; it’s no fault of theirs that this happened. On the contrary, without their unflinching support we would never have made it this far, and they have stood by us and tried desperately to help us realize our dreams.
The site will be inactive as of Monday September 29, 2008.

After a week or so, a second email:
"There's A Chance To Save Uber.com"
In the past week we’ve had a flood of great feedback and support from all of you. Thank you again. That activity brought us several opportunities from different companies that could keep the doors open here and one of these companies, sharenow.com, has graciously bought us some more time to figure out if there is a fit. We hope you’ll not only stick with us through this next month, but even POST EVERY DAY! The more activity we get, the better chance we have to keep this going. [...]

new RSS feed
I've added a new RSS feed on my homepage http://www.stefanobrozzi.com.
Technically speaking, it's an RSS 2.0 generated with a perl script using XML::RSS with the addition of extra tags for the use of piclens (http://www.piclens.com).
A small icon in the page should be available allowing the use of piclenslite, a small flash gallery feeded by RSS, created by piclens.com. Not sure it's valuable for me, but it's here, for now.
So far, only 7 pics are available to the RSS feed, I'll add more
but a major rewriting of the site is on its way.
